About PKHI
The International Research and Community Service Program aims to create collaborative research, learning experiences, and unique cultures for faculty and students abroad, while promoting research, community engagement, knowledge exchange, experiences, and intercultural insights. The objectives of this program can be outlined as follows: 1) Research 2) Community Engagement and Cultural Enrichment: Providing opportunities for faculty and students from IAIN Ambon and abroad to delve into and understand the cultural richness, history, and traditions of Maluku, especially Ambon, through various cultural activities and field visits. Similarly 3) Academic Capacity Development: Broadening the academic perspectives of faculty and students through research dissemination and community engagement, guest lectures, discussions, and field visits organized by leading experts and practitioners in relevant fields of study. 4) Exchange of Knowledge and Experience: Building intercultural networks and relationships between international and local students, and facilitating the exchange of diverse knowledge, experiences, and perspectives. 5) Intercultural Skills Development: Encouraging the development of cross-cultural communication skills, tolerance, and understanding of differences as part of students’ preparation to interact in an increasingly interconnected global society.
